PAYMENT DETAILS

When you make a purchase with us, you can do so directly through our site or with PayPal, through Facebook Shopping, Google Shopping, Shopping on Instagram, or through our other platforms for selling (Wolf & Badger, Etsy), we hold only payment-based details: name, billing address, shipping address, items purchased, notes added at checkout, and what method used to complete a purchase.

We do not store you bank or card details. For That Charming Shop purchases made through our other sales platforms (like Etsy and Wolf and Badger) all billing is processed directly through them.

VISITOR TRACKING

We use Google Analytics to monitor visitor stats, which allows us to see what visitors are interested in. This lets us create Google marketing campaigns based on our most popular products or upcoming holidays. This allows us to market and sell our products through Google Shopping.

We use Facebook Pixel, which allows us to see how people interact with our site. This lets us create Facebook marketing campaigns based on our most popular products or upcoming holidays. This allows us to tag and sell our products through our Facebook page as well. 

We use Shopping on Instagram, which allows us to see how people interact with our site. This lets us create Instagram marketing campaigns based on our most popular products or upcoming holidays. This allows us to tag and sell our products through our Instagram page as well.

We use Twitter Analytics, which allows us to see how people interact with our site. This lets us create Twitter marketing campaigns based on our most popular products or upcoming holidays. This allows us to sell our products through our Twitter page as well.

We use Pinterest Analytics, which allows us to see how people interact with our site. This lets us create Pinterest marketing campaigns based on our most popular products or upcoming holidays. This allows us to advertise and market our products through our Pinterest page as well.

For as long as you receive our newsletter and remain on our mailing list, Mailchimp will hold your name and email address. You can easily opt-out at any time by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the email. Mailchimp automatically add tracking to link to inform us if you have opened the email and/or have clicked on a link, We use this information to customise our newsletter and special offers for you (like a birthday discount, should you provide your date of birth.)

If you contact us via our website or by email, we only see the information you have provided. We use this information to respond to your email. If your request pertains to an order, we will request and use your personal information only to answer queries pertaining to your order (such as shipping costs, wholesale information, or personalised/bespoke products). 

None of the above store any personal data about you, we only see that someone has interacted with our website in a particular way.

RIGHT TO BE DELETED

You have the right to be deleted. If you would like your information removed from our systems, please email contact@thatcharmingshop.com

This does not include PayPal, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, Google Shopping, Gmail, Etsy, or Wolf & Badger. In order to delete those accounts, you need to delete them yourself and contact those third-party sites directly.

We cannot delete your purchase history. We are required by tax governing bodies in the UK and US to keep this information for our tax records. We hold on to this information for 7 years.

We cannot delete your contact details regarding complaints, legal, or data provided and/or collected in the interest of public safety.

AGE OF CONSENT

SECURITY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

PAYMENT:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
